SUS 316 과
가장 많이 사용되는 SUS304 와의
가장 큰 차이는 Molybdenum입니다.
그리고 SUS 316 뿐 아니라
SUS316L 도 마찬가지로
하여튼 316 으로만 써지면
Molybdenum 원소가
2~3%가 합금 된 강종입니다.
스테인레스 부식의 종류는
Pitting Corrosion (공식), Crevice Corrosion (틈 부식)
Galvanic, Intergranular (입계 부식),
Selective leaching (선택 부식)
Erosion (침식), Stress (응력), Fatigue (피로) 부식 등이 있지만
SUS316 강종에 몰리브덴이라는 원소를 합금 시키는 이유는 두 가지로,
하나는 Pitting Corrosion (공식…구멍 부식)
또 다른 하나는 Crevice Corrosion (틈 부식…연결 부위 틈새, 틈 사이의 부식)을
방지하기 위한 합금이며,
소금물과 바닷물에 견디게 하기 위함입니다.
※ Erosion Corrosion (침식 부식)
Process involving conjoint corrosion and erosion, erosion corrosion can occur in,
for example, pipes with high fluid flow velocity and pumps and pipe lines carrying
fluid containing abrasive particles in suspension.
부식과 마멸이 동시에 일어나는 부식으로, 예를 들면 마모성 입자가 포함된
액상을 고속으로 운반하는 펌프, 또는 파이프 라인에서 발생할 수 있습니다.
※ Cavitation corrosion (침식)
Process involving corrosion and cavitation, cavitation corrosion
occur, for example, in rotary pumps and on ships’ propellers.
부식과 공동화가 동시에 발행하는 부식으로, 로타리 펌프 내부,
선박의 프로펠러에서 발생될 수 있습니다.
※ Intergranular corrosion (입계 부식 : 粒界腐蝕)
금속의 결정 입계 또는 근처에서 발생하는 부식
※ Corrosion (부식 : 腐蝕)
Physicochemical interaction between a metal and its environment that results
in changes in the properties of the metal, and which may lead to significant
impairment of the function of the metal, or the technical system,
of which these form a part.
This interaction is often an electro-chemical nature.
금속과 그 주변 환경의 물리 화학적 상호 작용으로 금속의 성질을
변하게 합니다. 이로 인해 금속, 환경 또는 기술 시스템 전체 또는
일부의 기능에 심각한 손상이 유발될 수 있습니다.
이 상호 작용은 간혹 전기 화학적인 특성을 나타냅니다.
