Schedule 이란 용어가
Pipe에 접목되면서 Pipe와 Schedule 와의

상관 관계에 대한 의문이 많습니다.
Pipe Schedule 은 압력을 받는 강관에 해당되며

JIS G5454 외 압력이라는 말이 들어간 JIS No.
예) Carbon steel tubes for pressure service.

KS D3562 외 압력이라는 말이 들어간 pipe & Tube
압력 배관용 탄소강관 — Carbon steel Pipes for pressure service.

ASTM A53, A106
ASME SA53, SA106 등에 나타납니다.

Pipes and Tubes Schedule number
용어는 다음과 같이 정의됩니다.

※ Schedule number Number classified by the ratio (t/D) of tube
thickness (t) and diameter(D) The schedule number is used as an
index of pressure resistance characteristic of steel tubes.

In the dealing of steel tubes when the steel tube size is designated,
other than expression of outside diameter x thickness,
the combination of outside diameter and schedule number may be
applied In ASME the relationship of schedule number,

a tube outside diameter(D) and thickness(t) is given by the following
formula see ASME B36.10 : Schedule number = 1750 × (t-2.54)/D

Pipes and Tubes 외관에는
다음과 같은 Marking이 함께 합니다.

제조 방법에 따라
S : Seamless, E : Electric resistance welded.

Finishing method 에 따라
H : Hot-finished,  C : Cold-finished,  G : Electric resistance welded

아연 도금 유무 (Classification of zinc-coating)
Black : Not zinc-coated tubes,  White : Zinc-coated tubes.
