코발트 합금는 Co-base 합금, Ni-base 합금,
Fe-base 합금으로 나뉘고
그 중 Co-base 합금은 Ni-base 합금보다
더 높은 온도까지 사용 가능하다는 장점과
가공성과 고온 환경에서의 내피로 (Fatigue properties)
저항성이 뛰어나다는 장점이 있습니다.
Alloy 188 합금은 다른 금속보다 Lanthanum 희토류
원소가 소량 합금 되는데, 이는 Lanthanum이
스케일에 대해 보호 성능 (Very protective scale)이 있기 때문입니다
Cobalt Alloy 188 의 특징은
고온 강도 – Excellent high-temperature strength
내산화성 – Good resistance oxidizing environments up t0 1095℃
내황산염 부식성 – Excellent resistance to sulfate deposit type hot corrosion.
내피로성 – Good fatigue properties at elevated temperature.

화염 안정기, 계속 연소 장치 – Flame holder
