980℃ 에서의 내산화성–Oxidation resistance,

특성을 가지는 AMS 5662, Nickel Alloy 718 금속이며
내식성 — Corrosion resistance,
특성이 이러다 보니, 사용되는 환경은
고온용 볼트 — High temperature bolts and fasteners
고속 항공기용 기체 부품 — High speed air-frame parts
항공기 터빈 하우징 — Aircraft turbines housing
회전 부품 — Rotating components 으로 사용됩니다.

Alloy steels which retain oxidation resistance, high temperature
corrosion resistance or high temperature strength under
various circumstances at high temperature.
They often contain nickel, cobalt, tungsten and/or other alloy
elements other then several % min of chromium.
Principally, they are classified into four types, which are
martensitic, ferritic, austenitic and precipitation hardening,
according to their structure.
Further, when total amount of alloy elements exceed about
50%, they are generally, called super alloy, heat resisting
alloy or super heat resisting alloy.
내열강이란 고온에서의 각종 환경에서 내산화성,
내고온 부식성 또는 고온 강도를 유지하는 합금강으로
수% 이상의 크롬 외에 니켈, 코발트, 텅스텐 등
합금 원소를 함유하는 경우가 많으며
내열강은 그 금속의 조직에 따라
마르텐사이트계, 페라이트계
오스테나이트계, 석출경화계, 4가지로 분류됩니다.
또한 합금 원소의 총량이 50%를 넘는 경우는
초내열 합금, 또는 내열 합금, 또는 간단히
초합금이라고 부릅니다.
