베릴륨이 합금 되고 , 열처리에 의해 고강도를 실현합니다.
고성능 스프링 재료로 사용됩니다.
전기 기기용 스프링, 계전기용 스프링으로 사용합니다.
베릴륨을 동에 합금 하는 이유는, 단 한 가지,
강도가 급격히 증가하기 때문입니다.
99.90% 구리인 타프피치동
99.90% 구리인 인탈산동 의 인장 강도 200 MPa,
97~98% 수준의 구리에, 1.6~1.8% 수준의
베릴륨을 합금 하면, 냉간가공과
열처리에 따라, 인장강도가
1000MPa 수준으로 증가합니다.
이런 이유로 베릴륨 원소 생산량의
70% 수준이 구리 합금에 사용됩니다.
