SA508 Gr.3 Cl.2 는 압력용기용
단조강으로 QT 열처리 강재입니다.
SA508 Gr.3 Cl. 2 와, SA508 Grade 2 Class 2 의 강도와 CVN 이 같고
SA508 Grade 3 Class 1 와 SA508 Grade 2 Class 1 의
강도와 CVN 규정이 같으면서
SA508 Grade 3과 SA508 Grade 2의
망간 (Manganese) 에서만 차이가 있고
다른 원소은 거의 차이가 없는 특징이 있습니다.
원소재는 Vacuum-Treated 제조 되는 특징이 있으며
이는 쇳물 제조 때, 진공 상태에서 제조함으로
강을 약하게 하는 불순 원소와 Gas (Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen)를
진공 상태에서 제거하려는 목적입니다.
SA508 Gr.3 Cl.2 강재는 주로 Reactor system에 사용되며
압력용기의 Shell, Head, Ring, Closures와 부품으로 씁니다.

Test to measure the absorbed energy, impact value, percentage
of brittle/ductile fracture, transition temperature, etc. with using
charpy impact testing machine in which test piece is supported by
two supports distant by 40 mm so that the notch meets the middle
between supports and is broken by striking with one blow of
pendulum to the face opposite the notch.
샤르피 충격 시험기를 사용하여 시험편을 40 mm 간격이 있는 두 개의
지지대에 올려 놓고, 또는 노치부를 지지대 사이의 중앙에 놓고
노치부의 뒷면을 해머로 1회만 충격을 주어, 시험편을 파단 시키고
흡수 에너지, 충격치, 파면율, 천이 온도 등을 측정하는 시험.
