X46Cr13, 1.4034 재료의 특징은
높은 경화성 — High hardenability
스테인레스로는 중간급의 내식성이지만
일반적인 물, 스팀 수준의 환경에서는
내식성에서 문제가 없습니다.
높은 탄소 함량 (0.48%)으로 용접성은 좋지 않습니다
X46Cr13, 1.4034 는, 강도와 경도가 높아
기계 가공성은 좋지 않습니다.
1.4301 (X39Cr13) 대비 경도 강도가 높으며
QT or Annealed 해서 사용하는 경우가 많습니다.
베어링으로 사용되며, 외과 수술용 도구 (Surgical instruments)로도 사용 되어
절삭용 도구 (Cutting tools : drills, mills etc.) 드라이버 (screwdriver)로 사용됩니다.

50 HRC hardness, it does not necessary mean both have the
same mechanical properties or wear resistance.
