쾌삭강 (free-cutting) steel 입니다.
높은 황 (sulfur) 합금은, 1.4029, X29CrS13
마르텐자이트 강재에 쾌삭성을 부여합니다.
황 (sulfur) 함량이 nominal 0.13%로 304 스텐의 황 함량,
0.030% maximum과 비교하면, 얼마나 높은 황 함량인지 알 수 있습니다.
또한 내열성을 가지는 스텐레스로
550℃~650℃ 좋은 내스케일성 (내산화성)을 가집니다.
1.4029, X29CrS13 는, 마르텐자이트 스텐으로
QT 열처리 하면, 높은 강도를 가집니다.
주로 Round-bar로 공급되며, 펌프의 샤프트,
파이프의 프렌지와 피팅용, 기어 용도로 사용됩니다.

Steels to which free cutting properties is improved by
individual or combined addition of phosphorus (P), sulfur (S),
lead (Pb), selenium (Se), tellurium (Te), calcium (Ca), etc.
인, 황, 납, 셀레늄, 테루륨, 칼슘 등을 단독 또는 복합으로
첨가하여, 피삭성을 높인 강.
