슈퍼 오스테나이트 계열로 분류되기도 하며
CN7M 은, 염화물 응력 부식
(chloride stress corrosion cracking) 에 대한
저항성과 공식 (pitting corrosion) 저항성 금속입니다
CN7M 합금은 Columbium (원자 번호 41) 은 콜롬븀 (Cb)
라고도 부르는 원소의 합금으로
용접시 카바이드 석출을 최소화 시킵니다.
CN7M은 Cu, Mo 의, 합금으로 황산 부식에 강합니다.
CN7M 합금은, 18-8 스테인레스와
물리적 성질, 기계적 성질이 유사합니다.
CN7M은 Alloy 20 를 대체 사용하기도 하고
ASTM A351, A743, A744 규정의 Specification 입니다.
※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)

or proof strength, elongation, reduction of area, hardness,
impact value, fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.
인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율,
경도, 충격치, 피로강도, 크리프 강도 등
기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질.
※ Stress corrosion (응력 부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해 금속의
변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 (전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은 응력에서도
금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
