AISI 4145H Mod 강재는 QT 열처리 하면
항복강도 110 ksi (760 MPa) minimum
인장강도 140 ksi (965 Mpa) minimum 강재이면서
Hardness HBW 285~340 수준의 저온 인성 강재 입니다.
주로 Oil and Gas Industry 에 사용하는 재질로
AISI 4145 를 modified 했습니다.
미량 첨가만으로도 강도를 높여주는 Vanadium을 미량 합금하고
QT 열처리 성능을 높여주는 Chromium 과
Molybdenum 원소를 조금 높게 합금함으로
담금질성을 높여, 강도와 경도를 높였습니다.
AISI 4145H 강재는 shafts, gears, bolts 용도와
downhole drilling 용도의 저합금강재로 관련 규정으로는
ASTM A255 : Test Methods of Determining Hardenability Steel
ASTM E112 : Test Methods of Determining Average Grain Size 이 있습니다.
※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness .
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도.
※ Brittleness (취성 : 脆性 : 메짐성)
The property of little deformability, hard and brittle in general,
It is usually compared bt the strength of impact or the surface conditions of fracture
20℃＜ 0℃＜ -20℃＜-40℃＜-60℃＜-100℃ 저온으로 가면 갈수록
Brittleness (취성 : 깨지는 성질)는 급격히 증가하며, 구조체의 안전을 확보해야 할
철강 구조체가, 온도가 내려가는 환경에서 버티는 성질을 중요합니다.
