WC6 은 Chromium, Molybdenum 저합금 주강품으로
ASTM A217 Steel Casting 규격 중 한 가지입니다.
A217 규정은 valves, flanges, fitting and other pressure-
containing parts 용도로 사용되는 합금강과 스텐 규정입니다.
WC6 은, -29℃ ~ 593℃ (1100℉) 이하의 온도에서 사용하며 그 이상의
온도에서 사용하는 경우 흑연화 (graphitization)로 강도의 저하가 발생합니다.
A217 WC6 재질은 nominal 1-1/4Cr, 1/2Mo (1.25Cr-0.5Mo) 합금으로
A182 F11 Class2 (A182-11-2) 재질과 화학 조성이 같으며
항복강도 275 MPa min, 인장강도 최저 값 485 MPa minimum 에서도 같고
A217 WC6 재질은 QT 열처리 해서 사용합니다
A217 WC6 주강품은 우수한 연성 (ductility), 열처리 경화성,
높은 강도와 인성과 용접성도 가지는 저합금 강재입니다.
※ 흑연화 (graphitization : 黑鉛化)
흑연 상태의 탄소 석출을 말합니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.
금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
※ Steel castings (주강품 : 鑄鋼品)
Steels cast into mould to obtain the desired shape.
For mould, there are sand mould, metal mould, fire brick, black lead and so on.
강철을 주형에 주입해 소요 제품의 모양으로 만든 것으로
사형 (沙型), 금속 주형, 적벽돌 주형, 흑연 주형 등이 있습니다.
