46 Alloy, Ni 46 재질은 Nickel 46%, Iron remainder (54%)금속입니다.
전자기기와 관련된 soft glass and ceramic sealing 재료로 사용됩니다.
UNS K94600, ASTM F30 재질이기도 하며
EN 1.3920, DIN 17745/SEW385 규정의 재질입니다.
46 Alloy , Alloy 46 재질은 Soft annealed condition 조건에서 0.2% 항복강도 280 MPa,
Tensile strength 510 MPa, Elongation (연신율) 40% 수준입니다.
항복강도로만 보면 탄소강 ASTM A36, EN S275, JIS SS400 이상이며
인장강도로 보면 DIN S420, ASTM A572-60 강도입니다.
Ni 46, Alloy 46 재질은 물론 Ni-Fe Series 합금은
seawater corrosion resistance (내해수 부식성) 뿐 아니라
인성 (toughness), 열간 가공성 (hot workability)
냉간 가공성 (cold workability)도 좋은 금속입니다.
※ 연화 (Softening, Soft annealing)
철강재의 경도를 원하는 수준까지 낮추기 위해 시행하는 열처리
