미국자동차기술회와 같은 내용의

탄소강과 저합금강 체계를 가지기에
AISI/SAE로 병기해 사용하고 있습니다.

AISI 강재의 특징은 화학 원소와 허용 공차만 관리하며
기계적 성질은 관리하지 않는 특징이 있습니다.

ASTM A576 Specification covers hot-wrought special
quality carbon steel bars. Special quality bar applications
include forging, heat treating, cold drawing, machining,
and many structural use.

A576-1010 재질은, 화학 성분과 ASTM에서 규정하는 용도, 열처리 등이
JIS의 S10C와 Equivalent 비교 가능합니다.

※ Mechanical properties (기계적 성질 : 機械的性質)
Various properties relating to mechanical deformation and
breaking such as tensile strength, yield point or proof strength,
elongation, reduction of area, hardness, impact value,
fatigue strength, creep strength, etc.

인장강도, 항복점, 연신율, 단면 수축율, 경도, 충격치, 피로 강도,
크리프 강도 등 기계적인 변형 및 파괴에 관계되는 성질을 말합니다.

※ Carbon Steel (炭素鋼 : 탄소강)
Steel made by alloy iron and carbon of which carbon content
is generally within a range from 0.02% to 2%.
Further, a small amount of silicon, manganese, phosphorus,
sulfur, etc. are usually contained.
For convenience, carbon steel may be sometimes classified as
according to the carbon content or hardness (including strength).
Classification by carbon content : Low carbon steels,
medium carbon steels and high carbon steels.
Classification by hardness : Extra mild steel,
mild steel and hard steel

철과 탄소의 합금으로 탄소 함유량이 보통 0.02~약 2% 범위의 강
또한 소량의 규소, 망간, 인, 유황 등을 함유하는 것이 보통입니다.
편의상, 탄소 함유량 또는 경도(강도도 포함)에 따라서 탄소강은
다시 다음과 같이 분류됩니다.
탄소 함유량에 따라 분류하는 경우 : 저탄소강, 중탄소강, 고탄소강
경도에 따른 분류 : 극연강, 연강, 경강.

Si : Silicon을 AISI와 ASTM에서는
비고란에 규정을 두고 있고, Cu 값에서도 관리 차이가 없습니다.

AISI and ASTM : When silicon is required, the following ranges and limits
are commonly specified : 0.10%, max, 0.10~0.20%, 0.15~0.35%, or 0.20~.40%.
