SMnC420 은 JIS G4053 기계 구조용 강재로 Mn-Cr 합금강재 입니다.
주로 열처리에 의한 표면 경화 용도로 사용하는 강재입니다….이전 Symbol JIS SMnC21
EN 10084-2, 1.7131, 16MnCr5 재질은 탄소량 0.20% 이하의
전형적인 표면 경화 열처리 사용하는 강재입니다.
SMnC420, 16MnCr5 재질은 화학 원소에서 약간 차이가 있지만
표면 경화강용 재질이면서, 비교 가능한 강재입니다.
규정된 열처리 처리 후 SMnC420 인장강도 830 MPa 이상
16MnCr5 는 800 MPa 이상의 인장강도 강재입니다.
표면 경화 처리해 사용하는 경우도 있지만 Plate 제품을
Normalizing 열처리 해서 사용도 하며, 이런 경우 HBW 187 maximum 입니다.

저탄소강 및 저탄소 합금강으로, 주로 침탄 퀜칭에 의해 표면 경화 시킨 강
표면의 내마모성과 내피로성을 높이지만, 강재 내부의 인성을 유지 시킨 강재.
표면 경화 방법으로는 침탄 (Carburizing), 질화 (Nitriding), 침붕 (Boriding)이 있고
각각 탄소, 질소, 붕소를 강재 표면에 침투 시켜 경화 시키는 방법입니다.
※ 열처리( Heat Treatment : 熱處理)
철강재의 전체 또는 일부에 열 사이클을 적용하여 그 성질 또는 조직을 변화 시키는
일련의 작업으로, 철강재의 화학 조성은 이러한 작업 과정으로 변할 수 있습니다.
