Neoprene (네오프렌) 은 약칭 CR 이라는 합니다.
Chloroprene (클로로프렌) 이라는 무색의 액체로 (네오프렌 제조원료)

소량의 다른 단위체를 중합 시킨 합성 고무의 이름이 Neoprene 입니다.
Neoprene 제품의 특징은, 내후성, 내열성, 내마모성, 내(耐) 오존성 재료입니다.

BS2752 는 British Standard : Chloroprene rubber compounds 규정으로
경도에 따라 C40, C50, C60, C70 and C80, 5종류가 있습니다.

Neoprene BS2752 (CR) 중합재료 (synthetic materials)는
pc-rubber, polychloroprene, 또는 Chloroprene (클로로프렌) 불리며

Neoprene rubber sheet BS2752 재료의 특징으로는 -30℃ ~ +120℃
수준에서 사용 가능하고 좋은 내마모성과 내해수성 (seawater),

좋은 weathering, ageing, and oils (animal and vegetable), 무기염류
(inorganic salts) 저항성 재료이지만, 석유 (petroleum) 환경에는 약합니다.

Shore 경도에 따라 선택할 수 있는 40°, 50°, 60°, 70° and 80° 등급이고
Sheet, 가스켓 모양과 CNC 절단에 의한 주문형 형상이 가능합니다.

BS2752 C70 (70 shore) 재료의 색상은 Black, 비중 1.40 g/㎤,
Elongation at break 200%, 인장강도 (tensile strength) 13 MPa 수준입니다.

※ Tensile Strength (인장강도 : 引張强度)
Value of maximum load during tensile test divided by the
original sectional area of parallel portion.
As for materials in which the maximum load withstood by test piece
after yielding is lower than the upper yield point, it shall be the
value of the maximum load after yielding divided by original
sectional area of parallel portion.
