STEELMAX Steel Story
TD1 은 JIS SKD11, KS STD 11 재질을 Improved 한
냉간 금형용 공구강재 재질입니다.
Tempering 후, 경도 값에서 SKD11 보다 높으며 카바이트 (carbides)
크기를 줄여 충격 인성과 Chipping 저항성을 높였습니다.
TD1은, SKD 11 대비 내마모성 (abrasion resistance)과
내피로성 (fatigue strength) 향상 강재입니다.
공급은 Spheroidizing annealing 열처리 조건이며
수요가 QT 열처리 후 55~60 HRC 경도입니다.
TD1 은 SKD 11 재질 대비 Niobium, Aluminum,
Nitrogen 원소 등을 추가 합금하고, 다른 합금량을 조정한 강재입니다.
※ Carbide (탄화물 : 炭化物)
Compound of metals and carbon. Their existence in steel increase abrasive
wear resistance. Elements like Cr, Mo, V, W and Fe form carbides with carbon.
Especially cold work and high speed steels are characterized by their typical
carbides. In cast tool steel the carbides can build a network, in forged or
rolled steel, they build carbide lines.
탄소와 금속의 화합물로, 탄소와 크롬, 몰리브덴, 바나듐, 텅스텐,
철과의 결합입니다. 이의 생성은 내마모성을 증가 시킵니다.
특히 고속도 공구강, 냉간용 공구강에서 특징으로 나타나며,
공구강에서는 카바이트 라인을 형성합니다.
※ 구상화 어닐링 (球狀化 : Spheroidizing Annealing)
Geometric development of the carbide particles, such as the cementite
platelets, towards a stable spherical form.
Annealing, generally involving prolonged soaking in the region of temperature
Ac1, possibly with oscillations around this temperature, in order to bring about
the spheroidization of the precipitated carbides.
석출된 탄화물의 형태가 구상이 되도록, Ac1 온도 영역에서, 가능하면 그 온도
상하로 변경하면서, 장시간 유지 (균열화)하여, 구상화 처리가 되게 하는
어닐링 (풀림) 열처리를 말합니다.
구상화 어닐링을 하는 이유는 강도, 경도는 조금 낮아지지만 인성을 증가 시키고,
강인성 증가, 가공성질을 좋게 하며, 담금질에 의한 균열 방지 효과가 있기 때문입니다.
주로, 공구강, 베어링강과 같은 고탄소강에서 구상화 열처리를 합니다.
