A656 Gr.80 재질은 구조용강재이면서, 고강도의 저합금강재로,
트럭의 뼈대 (frames), 크레인 붐 (crane booms) 용도로 사용되는 강재입니다.

보통은 As rolled 조건으로 공급되는 재질이며
0.18% 수준의 낮은 탄소량과 낮은 합금 원소 수준입니다.

A656 Grade 80 의 숫자 “80”은 80 ksi, 인장강도를 의미하며
Megapascal SI 단위로 환산하면 550 MPa minimum 강재입니다.

열간 압연으로 생산되면서, 열처리가 없으면서, 높은 강도 실현을 위해
V, N, Cb (Nb), Ti 등의 강재 조직 미세화 원소와 강화 원소가 저합금 됐습니다.

파괴, 국부화 된 얇아짐 (thining) 또는 주름 (wrinkling)이 발생되지 않고

Steel products manufactured for building, bridges, ships, vehicles,
and other structure uses, which require high strength,
if required weldability as well

※ Steel plates, Steel sheets (강판)
Hot rolled or cold rolled flat steel products, cut to flat plate shapes,
including to cut length from the steel strips.
However, flat bars are not included

평평하게 열간압연 또는 냉간 압연 된 강철로, 평판상으로 절단된 강재.
강대로 부터 자른 판 (切板)도 포함됩니다, 평강은 포함되지 않습니다.

※ As rolled (압연한 그대로)
The condition the material is in when in comes off the sizing rollers.
Cooling as it’s being processed. As rolled is more prone to hard spots
and higher as shipped hardness
