2.4665 재질은 높은 크리프 강도를 가지는, 니켈을 주 원소로 하는 합금입니다.
Ni-Cr-Fe-Mo Alloy로, 1100℃ 수준까지의 우수한 내산화성과 높은 강도 특징입니다.
2.4665 재질은 가스 터빈 엔진 부품으로 가장 많이 사용되는 금속으로
내산화성 뿐 아니라, 환원과 침탄 환경에 높은 저항성으로 로(爐) 부품으로 쓰입니다.
고온 환경에 오랜 시간 노출되어도 좋은 연성 (ductility)을 가지며
석유화학 산업에서의 SCC (stress-corrosion cracking)에 특히 강합니다.
2.4665 재질은 gas turbine engine, combustion, turbine exhaust, petrochemical,
aircraft cabin heaters, chemical components, afterburners 용도로 쓰입니다.
2.4665 재질은 EN 10302 규정 고온 환경인 1000℃ 에서, 0.2% 항복강도 80 MPa이고
Alloy Name NiCr22Fe18Mo, Hastelloy® X–Special Metals, UNS N06002 과 대응됩니다.
※ Stress corrosion (응력 부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에)따라, 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.
금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
