AMS 5622 규정 재질은 고용화 열처리와 석출 경화에 의해
높은 강도가 가능하고, 소모 전극 재용해 (consumable electrode remelted)
제조 방법으로 생산하는 프리미엄 항공기 강재로, 환봉, 와이어, 단조재,
기계 구조 용도의 튜브, 링 형상 제품이고, 석출 경화 스텐레스입니다.
AMS 5622 재질은 ASTM A564-630 H900, UNS S17400 H900, PH17-4 재질과
대응되는 aerospace 구조용 (structural) 또는 고응력 부품으로 사용되는 스텐레스입니다.
AMS 5622 재질은,열처리 된 상태에서 높은 강도 — 170 ksi (1170 MPa) minimum,
높은 인성 강재로, 4% Copper 를 석출 경화 원소로 합금한 강재입니다.
※ Aging treatment (시효 처리 : Precipitation Hardening : 석출 경화)

bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling.
철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.
※ 구리 (Cu : Copper)
Cu를 0.4% 이상으로 합금 하면 미세 석출에 의한 석출 경화 효과로
강도를 높이는 역할을 하지만, 많이 첨가하면 열간 가공성 저하와
입계 취화를 촉진하는 원소입니다.
※ Premium Aircraft Quality Steel (프리미엄 항공기강 : 프리미엄 航空機鋼)
Premium Aircraft Quality Steel is the ultimate quality that can currently be obtained in
production quantities and is usually applied to the most critical parts and components.
Steel conformed to this quality level is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum
arc remelting technique. AMS 2300 defines this quality and outlines testing requirements
Steels described herein which meet this quality are designated by the letters VAR
(Vacuum Arc Remelts) or CEVM (Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melted)
