1.4581 재질은 Steel Name GX5CrNiMoNb19-1-2 로, 오스테나이트
스텐레스 주강품으로, Niobium 원소를 합금한것이 특징입니다.
오스테나이트 스텐레스인 경우, 고온환경에 오랜시간 노출되는 경우
크롬 탄화물이 석출되어 입계부식이 발생하는 예민화 현상이 있습니다.
이와 같은 예민화 현상을 방지하려면, 탄화물 안정화 원소인 Niobium,
Tantalum, Titanium 원소를 합금해 예민화 현상을 방지합니다.
1.4581 스텐은 펌프용 강재용으로 사용되며, 높은 크롬합금으로
내식성이 특징이고, JIS G 5121 SCS 22 — 내식 주강품 재질과 대응됩니다.
※ 니오븀 (Nb : Niobium) 또는 Columbium (Cb)
크롬이 탄소와 결합해 Cr 탄화물로 형성되 크롬 고갈에 따른 입계부식 발생될 것을
크롬보다 탄소와 친화력이 큰 Niobium 합금으로, NbC 라는 탄화물을 형성해,
크롬고갈 방지함으로 내입계부식성 개선, 결정립 미세화, 고온강도,
크리프특성을 향상 시키는 원소입니다.
※ Sensitization (예민화 : 銳敏化)
Increase in the sensitivity of stainless steels to intergranular corrosion
due to the precipitation of carbides at the grain boundaries.
스테인레스 강에서 결정립계에 탄화물이 석출됨으로서
입계부식에 대한 민감도가 증가하는 현상을 말합니다.
※ Carbide (탄화물 : 炭化物)
Compound of metals and carbon. Their existence in steel increase abrasive
wear resistance. Elements like Cr, Mo, V, W and Fe form carbides with carbon.
Especially cold work and high speed steels are characterized by their typical
carbides. In cast tool steel the carbides can build a network, in forged or
rolled steel, they build carbide lines.
탄소와 금속의 화합물로, 탄소와 크롬, 몰리브덴, 바나듐, 텅스텐,
철과의 결합입니다. 이의 생성은 내마모성을 증가 시킵니다.
특히 고속도 공구강, 냉간용 공구강에서 특징으로 나타나며,
공구강에서는 카바이트 라인을 형성합니다.
