STS301-CSP 재료는 스프링용 스텐레스 강재 재질 중 하나로,
17% 크롬 7% 니켈 합금과 높은 탄소량을 가지는 오스테나이트 스텐레스입니다.
Temper 에 따라 강도가 다르지만 Temper H (hard) 인 경우
인장강도 1320 MPa 수준의 높은 강도와 경도 (HV) 430 minimum 재료입니다.
스프링용 재료로는 탄소강, 합금강도 있지만, 내식성이 담보 되지 않으므로
내식성과 스프링성이 동시에 요구되는 경우 스텐레스 스프링강을 사용합니다.
STS304CSP-H — 인장강도 1130 MPa minimum
STS301CSP-H — 인장강도 1320 MPa minimum 으로 차이가 있습니다.
STS301CSP-H 재료의 경우, 냉간 압연에 의한 가공 경화 효과로 높은
기계적 성질이 가능하며, 풀림 열처리 (annealed) 하는 경우도 있습니다.
※ Temper (질별 : 質別)
금속 또는 합금에 요구되는 특정한 물리적 및/또는 기계적 성질을
부여하는 공정으로 (예를 들어 기계적 처리 및/또는 열처리) 후의
제품의 상태를 말합니다.
The state of material after the necessary treatment is processed for
the purpose of giving the particular physical or mechanical property
to wrought products and alloy products.
※ 가공 경화 (加工硬化 ; 변형 경화 ; Working hardening ; Strain hardening)
A phenomenon in which materials are hardened due to the increase of
processing strain when the processes such as cold rolling, drawing
and the like are carried out during cooling.
인발, 냉간 압연과 같은 냉간 가공에 의한 금속 구조가 변화됨으로서
강도와 경도가 증가 되는 현상을 말합니다.
일반적으로 강도와 경도가 좋아지면, 연성은 감소합니다.

Materials which are, because of their properties in the quenched and tempered
condition, particularly suitable for the manufacture of spring like components
of all kinds. The resilience of the steels depends on their elastic deformability,
which enables them to sustain loading within a given range without exhibiting
any permanent deformation when the load is removed.
The properties required of the steels for springs are obtained by higher carbon
contents and alloying constituents such as silicon, manganese, chromium,
molybdenum and vanadium, and also by heat-treatment, i.e hardening with
subsequent tempering.
