AMS 4342 규정은 높은 강도와 내 (耐) 응력부식균열, 내 (耐) 박리성,
인성 (toughness)으로 항공기의 구조체로 사용되는 압출 봉, 로드, 프로파일,
튜브에 제품에 대한 내용이고. AMS 4342 재질은 7075-T74511 항복강도
435 MPa minimum 의 고강도이면서 비중 2.83 g/㎤ 의 높은 비강도 (比强度) 입니다.
AMS 4342 규정 재료는 용체화처리, 응력 제거, 직선화와 과시효 열처리 제품으로
CuAl2, Mg2Si 금속간 화합물 형성으로 높은 기계적 성질이 특징입니다.
※ Precipitation (석출 : 析出)
A phenomenon in which a crystal of a different phase is
separated from a solid solution and grows.
고용체로부터 분리된 다른상의 결정체가 나타나는 현상으로
합금 금속에서 나타나는, 탄소와 크롬이 결합된 Cr23C6, Mg2Si,
MgZn2, 와 같이 표기되는 금속간 물질을 말합니다.
※ Overaging (과시효)
석출강화 (Precipitation)에 의한 높은 강도를 가지게 되는 금속조직을
석출강화 (시효강화 : aging) 시간과 온도보다, 더 긴 시간과 더 긴 온도를
유지해, 석출물상을 왜곡 시켜, 더 높은 강도를 얻으려는 열처리입니다.
※ Solution heat treatment (용체화처리/고용화처리)
A process in which an alloy is heated to a suitable temperature and is held
at this temperature long enough to allow soluble constituents to enter into
solid solution where they are retained in a super-saturated state after quenching
합금을 적절한 온도로 가열하고 급랭 이후 과포화 상태로 존재하던
가용 성분이 고용체에 고용화 될 수 있도록 충분히 유지하는 공정을 말합니다.
