알루미늄 합금 A2017-T4 재질은 높은 강도로 항공기의 구조체나 높은 응력이
작용하는 환경에 사용하는 알루미늄 합금으로, Al-Cu 계열 합금입니다.
A2017-T4 합금은 2000 series 합금 중 하나로, 이들은 Al-Cu 또는 Al-Cu-Mg
석출물 발현에 의해 높은 기계적 성질을 가지는 재료로 강도와 절삭성은 좋은 반면
내식성, 용접성, 압출성이 좋지 않은 특징을 가지는 알루미눔 합금 재료입니다.
즉 높은 강도는 얻어지만 다른 물성은 희생된 재질로, 높은 강도를 바탕으로
항공기의 구조체, 구조용 (structural) 재료, 자동차 부품 용도이고 A2017-T4
재질은 A2014-T4 재질보다 강도가 조금 떨어지는 알루미늄 합금입니다.
※ Temper T4
Solution Heat Treated and Naturally Aged to a Substantially Stable Condition
Applied to a products that are not cold worked after solution heat treatment,
or in which the effect of cold work in flattening or straightening may not be
recognized in applicable mechanical properties.
고용화 열처리 후 자연시효 경화(aged)해, 안정화된 상태를 말합니다.
고용화 열처리 후 냉간 가공을 하지 않으며, 편평도와 직선도를 가공을 하더라도
기계적 특성에는 영향을 미치지 않는 수준으로 합니다.
